Girls

Lilly loves to help me cook. When she "helps" it seems that the messes are spectacular and everything takes twice as long, if not longer. Sometimes I shoo her out of the kitchen, and then go to bed wrecked with guilt because I denied her a chance to learn and grow. Today was my son's first birthday, so I decided that Lilly and I would make him a cake. I also got to show her the best part about making cakes, which is licking the beaters. Lilly was so proud of her cake too and even went down for a nap without a fuss, since I promised her that as soon as she woke up we could decorate it. I think she might have enjoyed her brothers birthday as much as he did.also, sorry about the lack of shirt, she been going through the no shirt "phase" for about a year now. UGH!

Woosh, the weekend has gone by, and no pictures of movement taken...here is one from the files, that I never liked that much since it was a bit blurry since Lilly was running. this was taken on my point in shoot camera, about 1 minute before I dropped it in the ocean, much the the annoyance of Husband. My bad.

Whats the weather like where you are?????


Perfect!!! At least in my opinion. It's sunny and cold enough for a hoodie but not so cold you have to be bundled up....Theses are my pictures for this weeks challenge. I took them last week but things have been a little hectic. Sunny, clear skies and melting snow and mountains in the background....a perfect day. Frozen over waterfall....

here is my submission:It is our "tree"...which is more like a stick....the lights are the neighborhood across the road from us, and the full moon. I took this one a cloudy night....

My mom didn't think it was right for us to skip the Christmas tree this year, so she helped us put one up while she was here. It turned out very nice I think.

This week we have gotten our first "real" snow so everything is a winter wonderland here. very cool and exciting, esp if you are two years old...well it warmed up a little today and our winter wonderland is a soggy, drippy mess. anyways here is my submission....it's a melty icicle that was outside our kitchen window.
